Dr. Yasmin Hussain is an experienced and qualified educationalist. Winner of the Queen’s Award Prize in 2020, the highest national recognition for one of her education projects.
Founder: Tech for Good
Dr. Yasmin Hussain is the founder of Connected Creatives: Young Voices Matter.
Connected Creatives is an Ed Tech platform working with schools and teachers, to allow young people to be creative, self-publish and share their creative outputs (short stories, graphic novels, poems, journals) in a safe space with teachers, peer groups and the wider online community.
Yasmin’s research interest is around globalisation and education, Ed Tech, gamification & literacy interventions.
Other Major Work
Dr. Yasmin Hussain manages the “Mother Tongue Other Tongue” project. The Mother Tongue Other Tongue project is a multilingual poetry competition that celebrates cultural diversity and the many languages spoken in schools in the UK.
